https://infosec.exchange/@0xabad1dea/112539973036686033 algorithmic demographic profiling is one of those products that just doesn't work, and both the people making it and consuming it don't care that it doesn't work, and the actual targets of it (us) are barely aware or completely unaware it's being used on us. think of all the labor and energy that goes into keeping this utterly useless enterprise running, and for what? advertising? it should be outlawed.
