Don't count on the military supporting a coup. They are of overwhelmingly working class backgrounds. BIPOC over represented numerically. They are not going to slaughter their families and neighbors. Historically, in civil war scenarios, the military almost always split. In the Lebanese civil war, for example, in their first engagement the Lebanese air force shot itself down. In France, when the crown sent troops to defend the Bastille switched sides and blew the gate open. History is replete with such accounts.
