I have a few viable options to flee the country to somewhere with more protections as a senior skilled professional working for an international company, with no dependents. Even so, the logistics of doing so will be dismal and pretty much cost me everything I’ve worked for over 25 years, and mean I may rarely ever see my family again. And the global impacts of an indolent, fascist, broken America will be inescapable. But it will rapidly get harder and harder to escape.
