this is adorable and I love it and it wouldn't even get me to Calgary, much less Jasper. I feel like electric vehicles are going to remain an urbanite's ideal until we develop battery technology that can go a bit longer than this (sadly, I don't think there's anything to be done about the fact that you'll be charging for 30 minutes minimum, versus fueling up in five minutes).
