Rising house prices are not 'growth', its inflation...
Its not the 'sign of a robust market'; its a symptom of a continuing housing crisis.
This may be due to a rush to complete purchases before a change in stamp-duty, but just reinforces the problem that if part of th solution to the housing crisis is a radical price drop... then continued inflation in housing widens (expands?) the group who would resist any such policy outcome.
Changing the narrative, of course, would be a start!
