I also transcribed a pile of words from my notebook for another story, which has now doubled in length! Sadly that means it's heading into novelette territory, which will be difficult to sell if it ever gets finished, but that's a problem for Future Sarah. Besides, I've managed to cut stories down from 10k to 5k before so maybe it'll all wash out when I get to that stage.
