Even beyond equity versus equality. Not everything is for everyone. You can’t fly a plane if you’re blind. You aren’t going to win the Nobel Prize in science if you’re stupid. Not to mention the fact that some people are stupid. They just are. Others are weak, fat, ugly, or any number of things that might restrict them from some unrealistic goal.

We pretend that nothing is supposed to matter in a society where it all matters very much. The virtue signaling is oppressive and counterproductive.
