pv 🤙 Get your local version of Iris with Docker Desktop 🤙 Uploading images 💫
If you want to run a local version of Iris you can do it with minimal (or zero with some instructions) technical knowledge.
1) Install https://www.docker.com/products/docker-desktop/ and check the https://docs.docker.com/get-started/ guide
2) Run "git clone https://github.com/irislib/iris-messenger.git";
3) go to iris-messenger directory and run "docker-compose up"
Now, you have a local version of Iris that you can access from your preferred browser at http://localhost:8080/ and control the installation from the Docker Desktop.
