This is exactly why if you are building something here you should relentlessly reach out to anyone you can find who is building something similar and coordinate with them (openly, ideally).
They are NOT your competitors- they are your ALLIES. If you fail to coordinate sensible interoperability then you have failed the user and the ecosystem at large.
There will be no space to even “compete” in if we can’t achieve sensible protocol level interoperability.
Anarchy is cool and all, but without a shared vision this is all an idealistic clusterfuck that actually doesn’t compete with (highly organized) centralized services.
