I am under the opinion that it happens just as frequently on other websites. It is just that because fedi admins actually are part of their community and are not disconnected because they have an organization/treat fedi as a job they can get paid for you'll see more interventions and you hear about it a lot more than on other sites that try to bury their skeletons.
