But then something REALLY interesting happened. I'm taking a trip and I can't take the board with me easily. So I asked it to convert the code into Processing ( a different programming system, all software) emulating the LEDs so I can run it virtually on my mac. It did it on the first try.
This is astounding to me. I can literally move my creative ideas between different hardware and software environments with nearly zero effort.
