Question from a student that I didn’t give a complete answer to because it’s a nice question “Taking the nth derivative of f(x)g(x) produces a result that is very similar to (a+b)^n … it has binomial coefficients so why is the product of functions like a sum when we iterate the derivative? Is this somehow about logs?”
I don’t think it’s about logs — unless I’m missing something… hm.
