Current DIY project:
A while ago we fermented a batch of juice from our Seville orange tree. Today we ran that through the still, and got a decent yield of spirits. Am now steeping some sweet orange and bitter orange peels in this. In a few weeks will add syrup, age for a while, and then (hopefully) have a nice orange liqueur.
We make very nice limoncello, so I'm optimistic about this.
