I guess the short (too late for that!) answer is turning on AUTHORIZED_FETCH doesn't keep instances from retrieving information unless you go hog wild and turn on other features and disable even more. Doing so impacts more than just instances that are blocked. Also, AUTHORIZED_FETCH breaks Lemmy and kbin access, whether they're blocked or not. 2/2
