#TwitterMigration Many months ago I switched servers from the big mastodon.social to a local one and was able to get the username I wanted. This is probably an underrated feature of federation and smaller instances. The comparison to email is apt I think. And when you do, remember to toss a coin to your admin. #TheWitcher
