An interesting aspect of schooling in Canada is that there is no such thing as parental rights. There are children’s rights, eg a parent doesn’t have a right to see the child, rather the child has a right to see the parent, unless it is unsafe. Also, Canada is a signatory of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. The US isn’t. This convention gives a child the right to privacy. #CanPoli #cdnpoli
