@creeksidewilly mainly because it's a kiss between a man and a woman. If it were two random homosexual males or transexuals kissing, with or without mutual permissions, I'm pretty sure there would be no fuss at all. This is purely speculation on my part, however, but I wouldn't be surprised, if I were really close to solving the mystery here.
