All the existing economic theories are broken now because of 1 thing:
All theories assume scarcity. And now, we're in partial post-scarcity times.
I can have any book, audio, video in minutes. Computation is cheap as almost not bothered to charge for. Solar makes getting energy to run basically free.
All these existing theories have no understanding of "cost to develop, but free to share".
What would that new economic model would look like? I have no clue. But it ain't mercantism, neofeudalism, capitalism, socialism, communism, or any other - ism's.
