At the end of the day, the issue over tme/tma, the division in understanding transmisogyny as a active and unique specific oppression that both is focused around a certain grouping of people but shoes consequences is generally rampant in society - the same as any other system of power - , is not an issue of terminology, its an issue of epistemology.

Its the same reason that the people who object to these frameworks always fall back on bioessentialism and "male socialization" to understand trans women, perpetuating the same social exploitation in miniature, in the intimacy of "trans community"

The epistemology that bars it is upheld by violence.

No term is capable of reworking an entire framework that systematically erases what it is naming.

We shouldn't flinch at naming that understanding what we are experiencing requires the work of seeing differently- its something any one of us who has come to a transfeminist consciousness has had to do ourselves.
