Lol, the oligarchs are his friends. He already purged everyone disloyal. And its not like there is a replacement which would not turn russia into western puppet with "Russians must pay for their horrible crime of being Russian" policy. At least oligarchs are better than openly genocidal oligarchs. And hey, at least third of these oligarchs are jews, so israel being fucked over, might have very positive outcome for Russia. Oligarchy never cared about Russia and considered it to be a milking cow, but now they cant exactly flee to israel, and they might start turning Russia into a livable place.
