We've done a quick test wash, and it turns out there's a bit of remedial plumbing work required.

However, the good news is that the washing machine plays a perky tune when it's done. And it was bugging me where I'd heard it before.

And then I remembered... Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows...

...and so the washing machine has now been named Moriarty.

Which, considering it has some sort of AI, seems approriate. 🤣
