So Guide time folks, lets say you want to run Mods for Command and Conquer 3 on steam? Let me help you with these steps.
1. On the steam settings for the game make sure you add line on the advance command of -ui . This pulls up the game browser to load your mods.
2. You will go to your my documents find the game and create a mods folder. ( mods go into folder "no shit")
3 Right click the game file under my documents you have rename the file replacing the "And" with "&". Yes EA was that fucking stupid on coding game files.
4. Your good to go. Game on Commander.
(Extra Step: find your game exe file and right click it and create a shortcut. Next rename the shortcut and add the line "-win" this allows you alt tab out without crashing the game, or in my case by hitting the windows key by accident.
Play testing? WHATS THAT?
