can't say i've seen any signs of mall death in Norway. malls don't ever seem to shut down. maybe we have as many as we need. it's extremely rare to see an empty spot in a mall. they're always filled to the brim with shops and spaces are in high demand. online shopping is popular but it acts more like a supplement to malls than a replacement for them.
