Amethyst isn't always great at displaying zap notifications (lit up zap icon). There are a couple of steps when you submit a zap, and one of them tells Amethyst that the zap was successful. For some reason, that step doesn't always complete successfully even though the zap was successfully executed. When I don't get the notification, I always look at my wallet's transaction log to see if the zap was successful. It almost is. Sometimes I have to re-zap and it goes through the second time.
