After three weeks of digital observations, I have concluded that most of the birds in my backyard arrive before I am awake which explains why my birdseed slowly disappears without me seeing many birds (I thought it was a squirrels! It is also squirrels, but birds too!). Today was the first day the pine siskins were the top birds.
