Framsókn (Progressive Party) was one of the biggest losers of the election. They have a long, long history of gross nationalism. (One of their pre-war policy planks was to get rid of “degenerate art”.) But they’ve been trying to shed that image in later years which lead members to split into a new party: the overtly Trumpist Centre Party.
