Apparently he is the black sheep of the family and according to my mum "only cared about playing golf and drinking booze." My aunt says he is unsociable, has no other children, and is still an asshole.

I'm actually relieved that I don't have any other brothers or sisters on that side. It makes it so much easier somehow.

I don't care if he doesn't want anything to do with me, it's just cemented what my mum recently told me. I'm happy with my family who love me.
