A before and after of the historic Lahaina Courthouse (Lahaina Arts Society) and Banyan tree. I took the top photo last weekend while sailing to a mooring at Mala Pier.
The tree has been getting a lot of TLC since the fires and appears to be recovering slowly. The rest of the town? Not so much. The community will need a lot of time to process their loss and even longer to begin talks of rebuilding.
