I think people need to learn that everything we think we know about the world is always just a very much simplified model of actual reality because our brains cannot process everything, and we always operate on limited information. And when a model no longer makes accurate predictions about the observable world, it needs to be replaced with a better one. There is no absolute truth, there are only observations of phenomena and the patterns we extract from those.
