For about 8 months now, my 5 year old has been steadfastly insisting he wants to go by Draco instead of Bastian at school, after the constellation.

I said “Hey that’s cool & you get to choose how people address you but like…okay just so you know, there’s a crazy famous book series where one of the bad guys is named Draco.”

This child deadass looked me in the eye & stone cold replied:

“But I’m not a bad guy. So why should I care?”
