There's a new optional feature in Mastodon 4.3.0 which can automatically show a site owner's Fediverse account whenever anyone links to their website on Mastodon.
To activate it:
1. Insert this code in the header of your website or article page:
<meta name="fediverse:creator" content="username@servername" />
Put your Fediverse address in the content section, but leave out the first @.
2. Go to Preferences > Public Profile > Verification and add your website domain to "Author Attribution".
