SUMMARY
I have this 8 terabyte disk with what I estimate to be roughly 1 billion files. I say estimate because there's no realistic way to count them. There's 3 million loose files and of those, 1,500 of them are gigantic 7z archives containing probably roughly equivalent numbers to the outer filesystem. I'm sure there's some program that could mass read the headers but I'd rather not wait 2 days to get the result.
I don't know what to fucking do with this. I can't search it, unzipping even a small fraction of it can take several days. I can't just automate the process due to the high risk of losing the file structure due to an extraction mistake and even if I did fully automate it a realistic run time for the job would likely be about 4 months given the tests I've done today
