We are still feeling the effects of inflation, for sure. Paychecks don't stretch as far as they did before the pandemic, but that's not exactly inflation.

Inflation is about the changes, how fast prices are rising/falling while what people, fairly, care about is actual price levels that still are very high.

The issue comes from Democrats, correctly, touting lower levels of inflation and typical people are considering them 'out of touch' because they misinterpret the word.
