My undregrad thesis was focused on how to use Open Source on SMB (Small and Medium Businesses).
It made full sense to reduce tech TCO for SMB at the time, it does now.
I got an email on initiatives to promote cybersecurity on SMB. I think OSS is part of that too, as businesses do not depend on costly updates/subscriptions.
But hey, who am I to tell them that... just another engineer.
