Well I did the RADAR stuff in the Marines, and was trained by Westinghouse on base on that F4 Phantom AWG-10A RADAR system. Then I went to silicon valley in 85 when I got out, and was trained on 11 meter C-Band Satellite transmission systems, but moreso on analog and digital data feeds from our VSAT customers.

I've frankly never read a monolithic book on antenna theory. More product-specific. Though, there are, I'm sure many texts out there.
