For the first time in years (due to a combination of pandemic, job obligations, and new parenthood) there was a thing to go see/join, observe as a photographer - a news thing, a street thing - a thing I could actually go to: The brouhaha outside the federal courthouse about 20 blocks west of me as Trump got indicted for trying to overturn the election… and this would be the sort of thing where I’d throw my ol’ dSLR over my shoulder and make pictures and just see it for myself.
Felt a slight itch… cleaned the house instead. Fuck’im.
