Anyway, I ended up watching the first DOGE subcommittee meeting and idk I’ve genuinely never felt so embarrassed to be a Southern Californian and registered democrat at the same time 😂💀
My representative had 5 mins on the floor and decided to bring LA with him. He spent at least $50 on a board to print out a pretty decent looking picture of Elon Musk and referenced “a Minorrrrrrrrr” in his closing sentence to “really drive it home”. All his other colleagues (and on the same isle) didn’t need the theatrics. He wasted his time.
California has a wealth of knowledge and available resources. We are a diverse group of people. I love it here, but why are we ok with expanding our echo bubble out to issues that genuinely matter?
