So, today I came out to my mom. Went… better than expected. She asked if it's causing me any problems, said doesn't know what to say, and said she's going to need to think things through but didn't seem to take any of that negatively in any way.

for context, she had a stroke, and speaking/expressing herself is difficult for her in general, so this is about as good of a reaction as i could hope for.
