Another point on writer's block: there is no shame in it. If you are sitting down to your word processor or legal pad and working at it, practicing it, then that's good.

I have seen quotes a couple high-profile writers who look down on anyone who doesn't find writing easy. I implore any writers here to not get discouraged by such comments. In fact, there can be more pleasure in getting better at something you're not so good at, rather than being great from the start.
