I ditched reddit long ago but checked it out briefly. Apparently they're charging 24 cents per 1000 api hits, for third party apps. So many of the big third party apps (that had been around longer than reddit shitty official app), are shutting down. Hopefully that cess pit burns.
Meanwhile, on mastodon, nothing like that can ever happen. Hopefully people will learn (they won't).
