A certain Pacific Northwest #weather "influencer" claimed yesterday's t-storms in S. Oregon and the Inland Northwest were not the result of monsoon moisture from the Desert Southwest.
While it is true that it wasn't *all* monsoon moisture, an upper level low along the Oregon Coast is the best setup for getting it here. We did have monsoon moisture, mixed in with Pacific moisture.
This person claims the monsoon wasn't active, despite widespread t-storms in the Four Corners region.
