The filthy rich don't want to pay a price for anything they've ever done. In our era, it's destroying the climate, its ensuing disasters, and their fearful need to close every nation's borders to keep those seeking revenge from getting close enough to do anything to them.
"And for God's sake," think our billionaires, "we must continue to burn fossil fuels! How can a billionaire wage war, so profitable, without fossil fuels? Are we to throw spears at each other again? Where are the riches in that?"
We will remain at each other's throats until the century when we decide education is important, that propaganda is evil, that propagandists need silencing, and that power should never again be vested in the people with a monetary interest in sustaining corruption.
