Was thinking about replacing my #UniFi LR AP and ditching the cloud key for maybe a #TPLink LR ceiling mount version. But then I though I can probably flash it with #OpenWRT > But then the thought what if I kill the WiFi hit me ? So I know it's not totally green but why don't I buy a used one from eBay for about £20 and flash that then if it breaks we still have WiFi for now. If it works then I have a spare too and it means I`m not throwing stuff into landfill unnecessarily.
Did that just make sense as it did in my head ? 😂
