Several years ago I had a strong meditation habit. With life becoming joyfully busy I let this habit slide. Things were good and I didn't "need" it like a had before.
Life is still peaceful and joyful but I recently started up against a new challenge that's been playing on my mind.
So I started a 28 day meditation practice just to reboot some old neural pathways. I'm on day 4 and thrilled with how quickly the practice settles back in and surprise by how much of a difference I've noticed in my peace of mind. The slide into discomfort was slow and unnoticeable.
Learning to meditate doesn't happen by accident. It takes a little effort and is worth it.
