My wife and I alternated between taking kids to workshops and going to workshops ourselves, and we still managed to make it to half-a dozen workshops on all kinds of topics. Sabrina entered the maker-swap with her stained glass and came home with a stunningly beautiful hand-forged Puukko knife in a custom, culture appropriate sheath.
The food was good but expensive, the bar was cheap as hell, and there were large fires to talk and drink around in the evenings.
