There was a similar article a few months ago where a group audited hundreds of US weather stations used by NOAA in 2009 and found 80% violated NOAA guidelines for location of stations. The guidelines specify min distance from buildings, concrete, asphalt etc. in order to avoid Urban heating, which can cause several degrees F variation in temperature especially at night. A report was submitted to NOAA.
They did a follow-up audit in 2022 and found that 96% of weather stations were then in violation of NOAA standards. They even found multiple stations located near air conditioning exhaust vents.
Climate data is garbage and no one wants to fix it because then the 'scientists' would lose their funding.
