I invited him to come have dinner at City Island here in the Bronx where we have a few decent Italian restaurants right on the water and you can get muscles and fish fry. (I even offered to pay for beer and an amusing ride on the fast ferry down to the South Street Seaport where we could play skeeball...)
But Clarence never got back to me. Maybe it wasn't fancy enough for him. :(
