The *real* in my reality lies precisely in the problems that cannot be avoided. The ones that persist like an undigested kernel to hold me accountable, no matter how much I may try to avoid or evade or ignore them.
I can turn off the news, delete X, stop worrying about what will happen if "they" laugh at me or if I fail and, when I do so, a whole swath of problems that were previously a part of my reality will simply disappear. They atrophy when starved of attention. They were never real. There is no spoon.
Real problems break through. Their solution cannot be counter-fitted or resolved through decree. They both demand proof of work and respond to proof of work, something no delusion ever does.
