Honestly I think they’re lucky they can do that, those of us with abusive narcissist parents can’t do that. I’m stuck renting & they can give me 2 months notice anytime. Best jobs are in london but london rent is insane. Poor job market round here but rent is affordable. It’s like a catch 22. Britain’s isn’t feeling like a ‘first world’ country anymore.
