Pentel GraphGear 1000 has a retractable tip that pops out/in. Some of the Uni Kuru-Toga Models like the Advance/Elite have a tip that optionally pushes in when you retract but it varies by model. The higher end ones have it, lower end ones don't.
I'm surprised they didn't mention the Kuru-Toga pencils in that video (at least based on the summary), those are the very definition of over-engineered but they are really cool.
